Intercranial volumes of skulls from social and asocial raptor species

This project uses multiple methods for determining intercranial volume of different raptor species. By using multiple methods, we hope to identify whether costly methods truly give necessary data that cheaper methods miss. Additionally, we are working towards identifying differences in intercranial volumes of social and asocial raptor species based on museum collections.

Persistant trillium in a fire-dependent ecosystem

This project, in collaboration with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, aims to investigate how the distribution of persistant trillium changes in response to prescribed fire.

Functional genetic connectivity of anurans in the continental united states

This study uses data from across the United States to investigate influences on functional genetic connectivity of anuran species using gravity models.

Spatiotemporal interactions of mesocarnivores on reclaimed minelands

I assessed mesocarnivore populations at the Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio. This area is natural, reclaimed mineland that has recently been recolonized by bobcats, which were previously extirpated from the state. I looked at how bobcats, coyotes, raccoons, and opossums share space throughout the property via 50 camera traps set in a 500m grid.
